What is Our Menu To Go?

Our Menu To Go is an online restaurant ordering system designed to help enable restaurants to leverage the internet for advertising, marketing and commerce with ease!

How can Our Menu To Go help my restaurant?

With Our Menu To Go, your restaurant will be just one click away. It can help in promoting your business, as well as give your customers easy access. Plus, with our wide variety of menu templates to choose from, there’s surely one that would give your menu a dynamic appeal.

Will Our Menu To Go work for our country?

At present, Our Menu To Go should work in any country. Our user interface is in English, but you can create a menu in any language. The order process has screens with messages and field names in English as well, but we are working to internationalize this as well. Please let us know if you experience any issues that we should address.

What are the system requirements for using Our Menu To Go?

Our Menu To Go does not require any special hardware or software changes. Our Menu To Go is an online restaurant menu display and ordering application that only requires an internet connection to use, and some minimal JavaScript and cookie enabled web browser like Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera and Safari.

How do I pay for this service?

We gather information about payment at the point of signup. We enable the payment processor to automatically bill you for recurring charges until you cancel your restaurant account with us.

Registration

How do I register?

Registration is very easy! You just have to answer the questions in our signup page and just follow the process. For more information, check out our demo video User Registration.

Can there be multiple users with simultaneous login ability?

Yes! Our Menu To Go has a Manage Users section where the administrator can add new users to their current accounts. Administrators and sub-administrators can log into the system individually depending on the privileges assigned to a user. Administrators can also transfer administrative rights and revoke membership for any of its sub-administrators. There is only one Administrator for a store at a given time. Setting up Data

Is the data I provided secure?

We adhere to the standards for data security as set out by the Microsoft Application Frameworks. We do everything we can to ensure that everything is secure with Our Menu To Go.

What if there is a holiday, or my restaurant has special hours for any specific day?

Our Menu To Go can handle special days like holidays, anniversaries, etc., so you don’t have to worry how orders will be placed during that time. Just define your standard week's hours. For any date that you want to have special hours, add an override the normal weekly schedule.

How can I make changes to menus, products, and personal options?

You can access your store information and menus by clicking on the Store and Menu Data link in the Store Home page.

Design

How can I customize the way my menu looks?

We provide dozens of templates (called 'layouts') that you can select to define your menu structure. Additionally you can then modify the layout with colors, font images and positioning to create a 'theme' for your restaurant.

How can I edit my theme?

To edit my theme, just simply click on the Design Layout link on the Store Home page and it will redirect you to the Menu preview page. Click on one of the pencil icons and start designing to your heart’s content. You can see a sample video for editing themes in the Design Layout video.

Can I add logos and other images?

Yes. You can incorporate your own logo and images in Our Menu To Go. Check out Manage Image for a demo video in adding images to an account.

Can I use Our Menu To Go using different browsers?

The customer view of your menu is viewable by all browsers, including most mobile phone browsers. Most aspects of the management tools are also available by all browsers, but unfortunately Google Chrome and Safari don’t support some of our layout and theme features.

Is Our Menu To Go user-friendly?

Yes. One of the goals Our Menu To Go tries to accomplish is making the service very accessible to any user, be it a customer or you the restaurant user. Our Menu To Go is designed through the user’s perspective of how a system must work.

Can I access Our Menu To Go using a mobile phone?

Absolutely. Our Menu To Go brings you the convenience at your own pace. So whether you’re in school, in the office or just hanging out with your friends at the park, you’ll surely won’t miss this feature.

How can I use this menu on my website?

You can either reference the url to your page as shown in the 'Store Home' page, or you can add the JavaScript tag to your page to embed the menu. With just a simple link, you can add your Our Menu To Go menu to your website. And since you are the one to tinker and design your menus, you can theme it up to match your website style. That's simple, fast, stylish, and efficient!

You can also pull the raw data and display it in any way you feel is appropriate. We provide XML and JSON data so you can make use of your data in any way imaginable.

How does ordering work

How can a customer place an order?

On your menu there will be "order now" buttons. You can define what that button looks like. This button will only be shown when your store is taking orders. This looks at your store hours and the ordering cutoff that you have defined to determine if your store is open. We also take into account your time zone.

If the customer creates an order, that order is sent to you via one of our delivery channels. Currently the phone call will incur an extra charge to you, while the email is free.

How will I receive customer orders?

Once the customer is done in the order process, Our Menu To Go will automatically send the details in your account. The Viewing Orders video shows you a detailed example of how an administrator can see restaurant orders. You can always come to the website to view orders, or check your email or receive a phone message as you desire. Please note that the phone message will incur an extra charge to you.

Do you take payment for our customer orders?

Not at this time. We have plans to offer this but want to hear from you about your needs for customer order payment.
